What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy can be used for Holistic care of all constitutional and acute imbalances
Homoeopathy is a scientific method of therapy, for treating acute and chronic illnesses, that was developed in the mid 19th century, by a German doctor – Samuel Hahnemann. His aim was to develop a system of medicine in which “the highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of health…” He worked with specially prepared herbal, mineral and animal substances to stimulate the body’s own natural healing processes to achieve a state of health.
The effects of the substances have to be matched to the condition of the patient, and the key principle here is the biological law of “what a substance can cause it can cure”, or more simply, “like is cured by likes.” For example: onion – it makes our eyes sting and run when we cut one – so it can be used to treat eye allergies or colds with these symptoms.
In order to match your condition to the corresponding remedy, your individual reaction to the environment and the specific way your illness has manifested, needs to be carefully assessed.
